My flatmate said its what they use to do the big billboard adds cause its the only camera that can take such clear quality pics at absolutely huge sizes.

The shots would be like 10mb each or something, lol. Thats HUGE!!

hehehe, instead of a memory stick, you would need a hard drive.

how many pics could you hold on that?

I recently imported a 4Gb Hitachi CF card from the US, the cost of import was just $50 more then they normally sell 2GB ones for here, that included the cost of importing and transporting. Most places sell, if you can find one, 4 GB here in the $700 range, mine cost me less then $450 all up. I have not seen any 8GB ones however. My new camera, Sony FD828 is the only one in the Sony range that uses CF cards, as well as Memory Sticks. Setting at 8MB range for a photo I can get 1041 pics (each ends up at 3 to 4MB size) on the 4GB Compact Flash Card.

I spoke to them at the time I wanted a 4GB and they did not have it in stock, but have since. They are also the cheaper brand by ScanDisc, which though cheaper do work well. The reason why I got mine overseas was a few months ago when I wanted one. Any way I still got mine 4GB one cheaper and also it took less then 1 week for delivery from US to my work place. Some times I have waited a few weeks for local deliveries. This is where I got mine from:

They were very good at sending to Oz.

Some places in OZ are still trying to sell 4GB in the $700 range, so it pays to shop around.
