Hey Guys,
Just wanted to post some picks of my new Pygmy Bearded Dragon Enclosure. It is 3.5ft long by 2ft high and 2ft deep. It is made from Particle board. The front panel is made from 2 peices of ... hinged at the sides so as to open outwards. There is a small lip at the front of the enclosure to stop the substrate spilling out. There are 2 large vents on the side walls for air. It is heated by a 75 watt globe which we wired ourselves. For UV I have built a smaller enclosure for outside out of plywood and 2 panels of fly screen.
I have added some pics to show you what I'm talking about. This is my first attempt at building an Enclosure and I would love to hear any of your comments on how I can improve it or fix any problems I have made.
Cheers,
Aaron

bearded dragon enclosure

hey man it look nice
love the outdoor enclosure aswell
keep it up:)

looks good but your not gonna be to happy if the enclosure gets wet.lol

Yeah I like it too. I used to put them in a large tub with chicken wire over the top when I put them outside but I went to get a drink once and when I came back my male was gone. I searched frantically for hours for him and eventually found the little fella under the lip at the bottom of one of our bay windows. So that put an end to that method. Oh and the big Enclosure has 2 little groups of Mondo Grass in it but they were also outside in the sun when the photos were taken. They bring a bit more colour to the enclosure when they're in there.

Apart from the use of particle board (which basically tends to distintegrate when wet), the get-up looks sweet. They'll probably be very happy in there.

It's just something you write when you want to bring the thread back up near the top (in the forum), to get new people posting....
