Of course that isn't to say they are ugly by any means but they are attractive in their own way :)
Hatchlings seem quite placid overall but will have a go if you push them.

Victoria's laws will probably change eventually... possibly even soon but I would not hold your breath too long.

Basically we are allowed to keep what was around when the schedules were introduced. Nobody had a leaf tailed gecko, pygmy python, or file snake. RSP's were not even known about back then. We did have people with crocs, taipans etc. so we can keep them.

Boa they are just gorgeous.... I might have to put my name on your list for when you're breeding them! They are on our list of purchases in the coming years! They look awesome!
I love the eyes!!!!

Well done Ash, they are great little snakes...definetly my favourite! They feel so different when they are older and from what Ive seen so far are a very placid species. Nice and cheap at the moment too :D

re New

Yes a very weird situation, you can have crocodiles but not Boyds or RSP's.

At this size they don't feel very different to other Morelia to be honest, although the scales are already slightly keeled they are too small to feel 'rough'.

Still exciting species boa,you can use them to save sandpaper on those cages your making :)

I rang the DSE in Victoria and they didnt even know what i was talking about. How do different species even go onto a state list if they dont even agknowledge they exist. I know a friend of mine Peter Comber had to go to a lot of trouble just to get Bredli into Victoria back in the day. Would you think it would be up to the state Herp society to do it??

epa no clue

well im qld and they didnt know if i had to be on a resticted licence too keep them or not they eventually said to me that they are right to go on normal licence but i still didnt beleive so what has everyone that has them been told i ended up getting a restricted just to be safe

The QLD EPA only restrict pythons when their range extends into QLD and they're classified as rare/vulnerable/endangered. Rec license is fine, get as many as you want :)
