is it ok to put fakw turf under the water and put sand everywere else the bluey wont die from the sand?

sand is not ok.
neither is fake grass
they need substrate to dig in .
use bark or breeders choice.
they feel more secure when they can dig and completley bury themselves. especially at night.
sand is a hazard waiting to happen, and fake grass is so unhygenic. doesnt soak up anything.

and why do u have a blue tongue in with 2 water dragons.
they both require different setups.

ive talked to very proffesional people and they said if they are the same size and the setup is neutral they will be fine

I don't think 'professionals' would give this advice? Theres too many things that could go wrong, and as said they require different setups.

umm ive asked a PROFESSIONAL keeper who has been doing it for a ver very long time im sure that he wouldn't give bad advice ive had no problems they bask together the water dragons have their water the bluey has its nice warm spots the ewds have their places to climb the bluey has its places to hide i provide enough food for them and a healthy diet for both of the spiecies i have done alot of research on this

benito22.....
i have read my posts in your thread, and i cant see how i was being rude....
you have asked for advice, and people have given it to you. pls dont leave rude comments on my profile if you dont like my advice. i am not rude, i was being honest.
if u wish to keep 2 totally different species together just because someone who calls themselves a so called "proffesional" said u could then go for it. dont blame me when u have problems over it.
i have kept many specie of lizards/skinks in the last 8 years of reptile keeping, and i know well enough not to keep a blue tongue with water dragons. like i said, its my opionion and everyones is different. if u dont like the opinions please dont ask for them.

Zoocam wasn't being rude. If you don't want replies don't ask for advice.
They are completely different animals, different growing rates, different needs. When one out grows the other, which shall be soon. All hell may break loose. why take the risk? Don't get all defensive when people give you good advice, take it on the chin, grow up, and move on.

May I ask what makes him any more "Professional" then any one else on this website?

Cheers.

Alot of weight for many of the comments, but even professionals like to make a buck. So if they can live together for a reasonable time who cares what they tell you just buy the lizard. It just sounds strange on the surface. Remember also that blueys don't have teeth and smaller claws and legs than water dragons. It will proberbly work out, but it would be a shame if it didn't.

Oh yeh, when my herp craps, i clean the enclosure.

My snakes have newspaper on the floor but when I get some lizards I will proberbly opt for a more realistic ground cover, so interesting thread.
