Is it just me or has anyone else noticed. In recent weeks a number of 'advice' threads have been started by noobs and some awesome answers are being given by members, but the op seems not to be coming back to the thread or at least not acknowledging that they have read it. Not that I'm particularly thin skinned or offended by this, it just strikes me as odd or poor form. If I go to any forum and ask for guidance I check back more than usual to see if my question has been answered. If I wasn't going to bother or was going to be too slack to say thanks I (personally) wouldn't post in the first place.

Ok now where can I put my soap box for safe keeping...

Not everybody has regular access to computers. Perhaps they are reading but not replying, or just have been unable to come back real soon.

it took me awhile to figure out how to quickly find any things i post.....hahaha but im on here almost every day trying to catch up on it.

It would be really funny if gruni didnt come back to this thread...

LOL yeah it would be but I'm watching you!!!

I find redundant threads like this just as bad.
:D

I'm a noob
and am always on this forum and when I make a post I can't get off
The advice is awsome and I appreciate the comments

Thanks everyone.... for all the advice I have given :)

Possibly more correct this way Red-Ink???? :D

LOL, yes it is kind of redudant but that is why I stuck it in Chit Chat and not in General Discussion. It was just something I observed and wondered if anyone else had noticed the trend or if it was just my imagination. It wasn't intended as a long life thread with hundreds of replies as there isn't really anything that can be done about it...

I am more concern with users that can't wait more than 15mins for a reply and think they need to create a duplicate thread.
Thanking you in advance.
Regards

Yeah I noticed one a few days back where the same thread was posted in three sections of the site... but he then shot himself in the foot and got banned.
