I also get migraines. They used to start as bright lights (my aura) and then full blown knock your socks off, black room, no noise etc. Now i get numb fingers in my left hand and if l can get medication before the numbness reachess my elbow, l can generally stop the attack. My daughter (5 years) has just been diagnosed with Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (daughters aura). check out my post "desperate for help with 5 yr old *human* daughter".
Does it sound anything like this? The bigger smaller she refers too is like looking in those whacky mirrors at a funpark. Everything distorted. When you look at a doorway, is it "normal" or does it seem to be maybe on an angle and kinda wavie.. if that makes sense. Does you hallway look normal but a million miles long all at the same time. Noises can sound much much louder too.
