my olive pyton about 1.5 years old around 5 ft has just lately been getting very aggro, snapping at the glass and snapping at the hook. so its difficult to get him out, as i havent in the last week or so. about 2 weeks ago though he had mites and i treated it with TOD and not everything is back to normal other then his behavior. could it be the summer months warming everything up? in his 5ft tank there's just aspen bedding a water bowl and a rock, as i had to throw everything out cause of the mites... should i add hides and branches again? or wait for a little while encase mites come back? his thickest part of his body is ruffly 4-5cm is 1 large rat a week good for him? any ideas about his sudden behavior change?

thanks

I'm no expert but i reckon you should add a couple of hides as it might be stressing him out. Good luck

What was the olive's temperament like before it went aggro?

Add some disposable hides. Cardboard boxes would do.
The reason is that you will need to treat at least twice for mites.
