OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG I JUST PUKED omg that would have been really stressful the blood would have squirted out like a hose tell us the full story on how it happened also taraleigh that is swelling alot that would be freaking painful awwwwww **** so many painful feet i had 13 stitched on the top of my feet i might upload some pics later freaking sucked got infected then it scabbed up then when they pulled the stitches out they had to pull all the scab off got a cool scar though lol

Ok you have my sympathy only because I have done this once or twice with similar results. But I was hoping for a snake bite. Hmm, you know I heard letting a snake bite your foot may help with the pain!

I laughed at the 'Blam'. :)

Still making me smile...

Bloke I met the other day did a similar thing to his hand, clearing out the back of the mower while it was still running. A real bright spark that one.

feet suck i have a weak ankle that i roll once or twice a month it blows up like a ballon and i cant walk properly for a week or so it makes work really annoying as im a chef and have to stay on my feet all day i hobble around the kitchen all night looking like a gumpy person =P you most definitely have my sympathies. trench that looks painful but as my lovely nanna is always telling me when i have hurt myself "better you then me " looks pretty cool though i like seeing stuff like that =D its interesting to see what happens to the human body when we cut it or brake something in it.

Blam :) lol

 U do know that lawn mowers & feet cant be mates now dont you? Damn that looks like it would have tickled just abit! We had to have our bull terrier put to sleep after he tried to play with our neighbours mower through the fence, his mouth was hacked like your foot, yet his jaws were still locked there for another couple mins before my stupid neighbour finally turned the mower off!

Tara, when i kick my toes, whether they change colour like yours or not, the whole neighbourhood hears about it! Its unreal how a toe can cause one so much pain! & by the way, i am one of those 'feet hating' people you mentioned......feet are just so......ugly! (besides im jealous, im only a size 2.......finding nice shoes in my size is a nightmare........i just hate feet!)

Well I got my toe done by the lawn mower, walked 100m up to the house leaving a thick trail of blood behind me,
and if you think it ends there it doesn't, they put a full leg open cast on it evan tho it was only the toe that was hurt and there were flies landing on it (i stoped them with a cloth)
but then a few days later I was getting stabbs of pain in my toe, I would be fine one minute, and rolling on the ground in pain the next, at first the docs wouldn't take the cast off but when they finaly did there was maggots all over it.
and not to mention the amount of times I stubbed it :(
and when the time came for the stitches to come out, the appointment was canceled, and the stitches were I can't remember how many weeks over due to come out when they finally did take them out,
so there was a layer of skin over them, but the docs just got a hooked tool and riped the skin off to get to the stitches out
the bit I'm most proud of is I never cryed once (this happened back when I was 12) and I have seen grown men cry over less (babys :p )

well hows that for a full story lizardman59 :)

Heyyy guys. Wow. Posted, replied to a couple of people, went and sifted some sand for my beardies, went to sleep, work, come back on and there's 3 pages of sympathy and similar stories! Aha. Oh man.
My sympathy for the previous pain/hurt of everyones toes and feet and fingers etc and thanx alot for mine.
Sorry it wasn't a snake bite thread.... I can go and get bitten and upload a pic if you really want. Not on purpose though.... don't really fancy it but it might happen, gotta clean out my Albino's enclosure and last time we got her out she tried to eat my jumper.
Lol Bel. Not about your doggy though.
Trench.... Oh my. My jaw actually dropped reading your post. Ew. Far out. Brave young boy!

I still haven't done anything about it.... It's slightly better today, not limping as much and the redness has subsided.
You really realise how much you use your little toe while walking when it's broken!

the worst iv had is gout [ many many times ] , in the big toe then in my ankle .
one of the times i had gout in my big toe i was trying to figure out how to get to the back shed so i could cut the toe off with the grinder .

Haha oh gosh. Yes. There was talk of cutting limbs off too. No fun.

There we go.... here's the snake bite. Not too impressive. She was great the whole time I got her out, took photos of her, cleaned everything in her enclosure then put her back in and was fumbling with something and bang. Stingys! I still think she is amazing.

What is going on here? Nasty things like that are not supposed to happen to nice people like you.
I would have thought you’d owned those toes long enough by now to know how to look after them. However it would seem that many others have done like-wise at some time and know how ridiculously painful a stubbed toe can be. I have had much worse injuries that hurt less. It also seems to me that the pain level is inversely correlated to the size of the toe damaged.

I can’t believe you went to work with it like that. I am sure I would have whimped out. Your deserve sympathy if only for that. I hope it heals quickly for you.

I must admit, unlike Gandal88, I am not terribly fond of the sight of blood... particularly when it’s mine!

Jas101, I have a couple of friends who suffer from gout and neither is the sort of person to complain. Yet both are quite open about the degree of pain this ailment inflicts. It is clearly quite excruciating when it strikes and you have my absolute sympathy and empathy. It is clearly akin to walking on needles, except they are inside...
