Wasnt sure what to put this under its a ball python so I picked exotics. Some of you have probably seen it but it was of great interest to me on a scientific level as this is an albino that still has black pigmentation in its genetics. Cant explain it myself maybe one of you can though. enjoy.

What's up with it's head ? It's head looks fine. Yes the paradox albino is a strange morph, being an albino it should be unable to produce any melanin at all. Apparently it is genetic in some species but not in others.

could it be a chimera? (eg. contain some cells from a twin that didn't develop and got absorbed into this snake?). or maybe an imprinting anomaly similar to that which occurs in torteshelle cats?

Ok, ok..............who started colouring in

Looks like a bit of black paint if ya ask me!
