hello all i live in a unit and they have informed me they will be spraying the place for pests.
i have 3 geckos and one snake.

the crickets and woodies will be moved to my mates house around the corner
but will the spay affect the geckos or the snake?

they will be spraying stair wells and foot paths so not inside my unit so i dont know how strong this stuff is but if i keep all windows shut will that be fine?

and how long should i wait before i move the geckos and snake back home if i do need to move them?

thanks

anyone??

so no one knows anything at all im not to keen on moving them thats why im asking so if someone could save me some time that would be great

ask the owners or strata managers (if its strata?) for the pest control company and give them a call

the pest control/managment will deall with pets on a daily basis
most companies use a permenthrin based product which is natural based and its watered down and they generally just spray the bottom of the walls and sometimes around the windows

if there is a complaint for german cockroaches they may use a pestigas or insectigas but everyone would have to have notice and leave the premises for 8 or so hours

id just give them a call and put a towel over the enclosures for safe measure...

thanks for your help guys
i had a look at the paper work
its a spay for ants and insects and another one for mice
the chemicals listed were
bifenthrin
permethrin
talc 60%

if thats any help
and yeah i think ill give strata a call and see if they can find out for me
