My yearling spotted seems to have something unusual happening with his eyes. It's as if the eye spectacles have become slightly sunken (for lack of a better description). It's been like this for a little while - I was hoping it would fix itself after a few sheds but it hasn't improved (or become worse for that matter).
Every one of his sheds has been perfect and he has never had a retained eye spectacle.

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
Here are some photos. They are the best I could get..

Unusual Phoebes. The only time I have seen stuff like that is generally from a retained shed over the eye. Unless the snake has suffered and eye injury from a live feed or an accidental knock or bump. Sometimes things like this will take a few sheds to right itself. you could go to Dave Vella, but if the snake doesn't seem to be in any pain or suffering I would give it another couple of sheds. JMO.

I thought it might have been an accidental bump but both of his eyes are like this.
He doesn't seem to be in any pain and he is still able to see perfectly well. He has a great feeding response and never refuses a feed. Temps in the enclosure are fine.
Could it possibly be from a lack of moisture? I don't mist him at shedding time...all his sheds have been perfect..

Ah the old dented ping pong ball.... Do nothing, it will clear up, it is from pushing against something in the cage.
