Thats a nice gesture inny (and a very disturbing picture)
But as far as praying....who to?? - the almighty who may have created such a tradgedy? Pfffft
I hope this last comment hasnt offended anyone as i am very saddened by the tragedy, but 2 of my close mates are still missing in Sri Lanka along with thousands of others, - who was looking over all those people when this all happened.....not bloody God!!
My simpathy goes out to all Families and victims.

:? Where i wrote "prayers" you can insert "Diety of choice" or "dollars". Personally , I think dollars might be more useful, however if you beleive in "Diety of choice" then a few prayers wouldnt go astray either, atleast for those still missing, survivors etc and maybe the thousands of children who died. my mention of prayer wasnt intended to offend, im not religious myself. (i dont give a xxxx for being pc either)
Pic really brings it home dosent it! I hope your mates are ok Mr K

all true inny, thanks for the kind words :) well being very coincidental, i just got word about 15 mins ago that my mates are well and ok helping out in Sri Lanka. Maybe if i had that news an hour earlier i may have thought twice about what i wrote..what a releif. Dollars are a good way of making a difference (as well as pics like the above that "really brings it home" - you just dont get the impact from the tv sometimes) good on ya for the posts anyway mate

not being mean but i am sick of all this ****. it's on TV 24/7 showing the same pic's over and over and the same storys over and over. can every one just get over it.

It is a mind opening picture as too the devastation of this natural event. It is terrible to think that so many have died and that so many more will. We also new friends over there and they were ok. But, for all those poor ppl who lost families and friends, no money will ever bring them back, only help to ease the suffering of those that survived.

There has been more on TV about the twin towers and the never ending war that is going on over in Iraq ATM. The twin towers killed about 4000ppl give or take.

This Tsunami will kill well in excess of over 100,000 ppl by the time disease etc etc has come through. To say your sick of it is pretty inconsiderate really. This has affected everybody in the world. Everyone will have known someone through 6 degrees of seperation that would have died. Maybe even less.

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

yay for us I reckon, its getting very annoying all this telecast of the disaster by y should we have to see all this Bull###t on tv all day everyday I mean what do is don't continual coverage is not gonna help anyone but the tv networks rake in more money, after all it happen 1 week ago and all the coverage is not gonna build house or clean the villages.

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

you dirty little grub, westhamsc!!!! why pass comment on such a touchy subject that have been as crude as yours. obviously emotion runs low on your feeble little mind. Have a heart, and hope to hell that you never bump into me at a reptile meet. some scumbags should keep thier opinins to themselves. me included sometimes. :x

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

the biggest disaster of all time and sick of it in two weeks....nice one

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

never grub, least i show tact on such sensitive topics such as this (not telling people how much you care about thir sensitivity) get a life

RE: Re: RE: Prayers for tsunami victims

I feel sorry for all those people and would rather it had never happened, but 100 000 people is nothing compared to the amount of wildlife lost through land clearing in QLD alone, not to mention other acts nation wide, yet I don't think there has been one topic dedicted to it(please correct me if I'm wrong) Good on Dan for attempting to help and raise awareness, but keep in mind there are far more worse things happening right here in Aus and we are all blindly contributing.
