Im looking at buying a rosenbergs monitor, Can anybody tell me what the price range of one of these babies are?

Check out the Herp Trader...there are some on there $800.00 each.
This is the first time that I have ever seen babies come up for sale!

I thought i saw some for sale a while back too cant rember the prices though, awsome critters they have fluro orange on them when they are little.
What sort of temperment do they have are they like lacys or more friendly?
If only i had room for a few more large monitor cages and a spare $1600 :(
Anyone keen to do some tyre kicken to get some pics?

Do you ever handle yours boa? Whats its temprement like? How long is it?
sorry for all the questions
Cheers

they have a similar temp to lacy's, if handle reg, will calm down, if not will try to bite when held. average around 1 m in length, females arn't much smaller as in lacy's.

That monitor is the male I sold to boa last year. I beautiful specimen, healthy and hardy. He was never handled in all the time I had him, except the once when he bit RAZZA. He was a great feeder and always good to watch. Since being with boa I couldn't tell you about his temperament, but that gives you some indication as to how a Heathie behaves. He was one of my favourite monitors, if females had have been available at the time, he would never have been sold.

Iv been after a adult female bells for ages now and I still don’t have one………

Simon, I can tell you that his temperament hasn't changed since I have had him. It eats like a pig, 3 or 4 rats at a time. I have only kept 2 of my monitors, the Heath and a Sand monitor.
