I'm just curious, does keeping snakes attract other snakes? does keeping males or females make a difference? I have a female who will be breeding size next season, do they have like a "heat" cycle that could attract unwanted attention ? don't plan to breed so hadn't thought of it lol. I've moved from inner city to scrub/rural type area and I'm actually kind of worried about wild snakes, having small children and small pets ! thank you :)

I presume you are keeping a python. If that is the case it will not attract any venomous snakes that will pose a threat to your children.

If you are keeping them outdoors that could attract other snakes of the same species and opposite sex. If they are kept indoors then no.
