Hi everyone....
Some of you may remember that before my APS holiday (hmmm better leave it at no comment) I had posted a thread for Proposal Ideas http://www.aussiepythons.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61227
Sorry in advance to my awesome friends who have already heard this story!!!!
Well for those of you that helped me out or are just generally interested in the outcome....
HE SAID YES WOOHOO...
I won't go into too much detail because it is quite vomit worthy but i know some girls out there would like to here the story....... but the star of the show was Dodge (bred by the lovely OuZo)..... he was very well behaved although he did try to eat the bow on the ring box a few times but you get that LOL....
So i sent Andy down to the shops to get ice cream.... got dressed up in my lovely purple corset top that 'hangs the ladys high' just in case he was thinkign of saying no and then thought i was hott in that corset and said yes (so yes at this point i was a little crazy!!)....
Got Dodge all ready to go had John Butler Trio's Peaches & Cream playing in the background, dimmed the lights and did a quick tidy up to keep me busy.....
He came home.... went straight to Dodge and had a very confused look on his face.... turned around and called out for me (i was hiding behind on of the enclosures), hugged me, looked me in the eye and said 'Yes you idiot you didn't even have to ask'....
So we kinda hugged and smooched and slow danced a little (LAME i know LOL) then went to the couch to discuss dates/planning etc..... i pulled out a pic of the ring i had found on the net and had a local jeweller send away a quote for me.... and to be even more digustingly vomit worthy he looked at it, looked at me, then pulled out a pic from behind his drivers licence of a ring that was almost exactly the same with some notes on how he would change it which were the same as mine (ie changing centre stone to amethyst etc)....
So apparently he was goin to propose on our anniversary but i beat him to it LOL.....
I decided to propose now because A. i am horrible at keeping secrets from him and B. because i thought it would be nice to get our minds onto happier times and give us something to focus on and look forward to....
So now we are full steam ahead.... date is set to only 3mths away Nov 10 which is our anniversary.
I would just like to thank Steve (ponybug), Mell (mrsshep77) and Jess (sweethips12) for making the effort to come all that distance to come up for our special day.
OuZo for putting up with my crazy OMG what am i gonna do next emails and helping me through day to day planning even though shes planning a wedding herself!!!
And Chris1 for generally putting up with my excitement LOL
So the wedding will be ultra casual, papers signed day before, a good friend 'marrying' us, no shoes ceremony in the rainforest at Jourama Falls with a stop off for ice cream at frosty mango..... then proceeding to PARTY in my mums awesome tropical gardens.... YAY

There was apic of the ring box but it wouldnt come out properly... i dont have a ring for him yet we're getting it custom designed so i bought a $2 ring from Diva and had a note saying 'insert real ring here' LOL
