Proposal Update...

Yep honeymoon planned...

first 3 ngihts here in the Coolara lodge www.riversedgeretreat.com.au
second 3 nights here with the honeymoon package that includes massages, personal chef and wine tasting tour... www.mysanctuary.com.au

then back to townsville for a night to check on everyone.... then flying down to sydney to spend a bit of time with my family and Im gonna take Andy down to my home town (batemans bay) and show him all the places im always talking about, probably do some herping while we're there too...

I forgot to add last night cos i was buggered and i got distracted by my cute boy in boxer shorts LOL

To answer the above question.... i cant really explain it..... hmmmm.... you know how your mum or friends can tell you everyday how beautiful or hott you are..... but a complete stranger on the street or shop or whatever wolf whistles or gives you a compliment and its somehow different.... meh maybe im just crazy....

But to add to the answer of the first question.

To me it is partly about awareness too...... in magazines or talk shows etc you hear peoples stories that are suffering from cancer or a terminal illness and it promotes awareness of the disease and makes it more real to those that are not directly effected.

I suppose im just a little jealous/disappointed that things like breast cancer and leukemia (sp?) get alot of promotion when they may only be sick and recover in a couple of years (by the way i am in NO WAY down playing the hardship of cancer etc).... where as people with CF it is a struggle from the day they are born and they die unfortunately a slow and suffocating death and there is a very big lack of awareness which in turn adds to why there is a lack of research for this disease.

So if on 65 roses day someone sees a person raising funds for CF it might click with them 'oh that chick on APS husband has that' when perhaps beforehand they would have never even known about the disease. So if this happens my job is done.

APS and forums like this are a great way to publicly get exposure..... and like reptilegirl_jordan said..... APS is sort of like a big family LOL

its ok we're gonna be up in the rainforest which is normally at least 5-10c cooler than in the city and theres lots of trees and very little sun cos of the density...

And mum is hiring big shade sails and most of her garden is tropical with alot of cover too...

Its ok i dont like sunshine either i had this all worked out LOL

I have a mum, step mum, 2 nans, 2 sisters, 2 mother in laws, 3 female work mates, 1 dad, 1 step dad, 2 father in laws, 1 brother plus his best friend who are in charge of food preparation....

Its only gonna be a BBQ. some finger food, some really nice salads, and cheesecake shop cakes.....

unless you are coming and you wedding gift is your cooking expertise???
