Hey there. I have a question about this particular type of thermostat. I'm gonna run a heat cord on them, question is if the weather gets hot and I have the thermostat set at 32 for example and the probe is set on the hot spot does it turn it self off like the dimming thermostat if the hot spot reaches over 32 degrees? Thanks heaps

spot on mate, rather than dimming it pulses the power to the heat source, other than that it operates the same way as a dimming thermostat, ie it will cut the power to the heat source if the temps at the probe exceed the setting on the dial. They work a treat with heat cords.

Don't rely on the number on the thermostat dial to be correct. Read the temps inside the tub for a more acurate reading.

Regards.

oh okay thats great. =) I have to adjust my purchase now then.
