I've also wondered how effective these type of incubators would be. Be interesting to know if they keep a stable temp.

python eggs cant be turned, if you can turn the turner off it should be fine,...

I've never thought of using a chicken egg incubator...I guess the question is temps and whether chicken eggs need the consistency of temp that snakes do and if these incubators can provide that ?

You have to turn a key to make that one turn. Its semi-automatic because it turns all eggs when you turn the one key. So, just dont turn the key!

ooops you dont want it turning the eggs....I wonder if there is some way you could lock that so it that you dont move the key by mistake

Hubby likes the look of the clear one because you can see the eggs....and it is turn by hand.....

I guess you could buy it and do a test run with some chook eggs (unfertilised) not to hatch them of course but to test to consistency of temperature etc and to make sure it doesnt get too hot...... and also to see the humidity etc....

If it doesnt work you could always relist it....you might get some of your money back....or just put it down to experience.

Based on the standard Multiquip E2 incubator this unit has been adapted specially for all type of reptile eggs. This unit has a digital temperature control and a digital display, it is also fitted with flat shelves and a high tempreture alarm.
