Thats not a red belly,its called a red banded black snake.Only 1 known in aus i think.

mmmm I once found a similar snake like that,,,, must have been at least 15 or 20 foot long,,,, had stripes going lengthways i called it stroppous extremus.......... the longitutional stripey stroppy extremus red striped black constricta snake........... mmmmmm i must stop eating those mushrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
