yea the weather does affect snakes up here in Darwin my stimmi went three months without eating. I know it doesn't seem cold but sometimes it just about the time of year as well.

Good to here she is eating again anyway :)

She's insatiable now. This is her last night. She just had a feed (you can see it travelling up the serpentine escalator to heaven) but is immediately poised for the next one ha ha

Why aren't my up and down shots loading that way?

To quote my daughter after her stimmie's first feed "Love the lump!"

It seems like she is really getting into the feeding now. It must be spring.

Sometimes they do have a break in feeding get hungry and then load up again....it's frustratingly normal....

Balandas/ Whitfellas up here recognise two seasons the Wet and the Dry. There is no equivalent of Spring. Most Countrymen have 6 or so recognised seasons. Same story.

We have fire tolertant and fire excluding forests, each exploits the other when fire does or doesnt arrive in the area.

Spring for me is now, when the deciduous mob are anticipating the rain and the evergreen mob are trying to cut out their light, ( They've suffered to gain that advantage). But here it's the BUILDUP"

Hot as hell, big humidity and clouds that build and dont deliver. Crime goes up, insanity rears its head, When the wet breaks it is a happy world up here. Everyone is friendly and relaxed. It is the build up that is most likely to kill you.

But she is all go. I like the bump too :D
