i wouldn't if i was you, i treat them the same as you would a steak for yourself, once un frozen never refreeze. When you consider the cost of rats and mice, its not worth the risk.

It probably doesn't matter too much, I know people who do it all the time, and I've done it myself a couple of times, years ago, but I agree with soulweaver, avoid it if you can. Most people solve the problem by having one or more pigs, which will eat whatever, whenever. I'm fortunate enough to have several of my snakes in that category :)

NEVER !!! ON PAIN OF CERTAIN DEATH !!!................Over to you Greg~~

Yeah, I am sort of getting that idea. :)

How long do you all think they would last in the fridge before being no good?

Yeah, that's ok Mark. So long as nothing is eating refrozen mice, rats or meat for that matter. Too much Bacteria involved? Ask Dave, he's the Butcher and involved with Quality Assurance hey. That involves minimum temps etc.

there was a old post about this which i started. i think its the post that got wattso (now known as instar) kicked out.

LOL Tommo.
