Occasionally in the past i have done this,but i dont think i would again. If the food doesnt get eaten its wrapped up and thrown in the garbage. After 6 months anything thats in the snake freezer is thrown out.

The Pythonking himself Dave Barker from Texas has said that he refreezes rats to be fed to snakes at a later date, and has been doing so for 30 years. He says that just because its not a good idea to refreeze meat for human consumption, the same does NOT apply to rats for snake consumption.
