hey guys

my childreni just shed a few days ago, and while i was holding it just before, i noticed a white spot, almost like a sore, on his head.

never seen this before on him, until after the shed.

could it be retained shed? should i give him a warm bath, or let him run through a warm pillow case?

i can't see the spot in the pic?? can u put up diff pics.. cheers

is it possible that it touched a heatlamp? it could be a small burn.

not mate, impossible. its in a click clack with just a heat matt.

il get better pics after he is finished digesting, i might also give him a run trhough a damp warm pillow, just incase it is retained shed

bump!!

he is finished digesting his food now, so im gunna run him trhough a pillow case.

how warm should it be (~30 degrees?) how wet/dry and how long should he be in there for?

cheers

if she is a small snake a wet luke warm squeezed out hand towel works well ..just put her in the middle of it fold the towel over her and let her move about in it ..do it for a bit while sitting with her on your lap and if you notice that its gone then she is all done;)

thanks mate, il do the tea towel idea, seems more practical for a small snake and easier to wash haha
