Hey there guys,
today I found my young Bredli Python (about 6 months old) stuck to some tape that was used to keep his rock-background stuck to the back of his enclosure. I immediately called my reptile specialists to ask what to do in removing the tape and I managed to get it off of his body, however, he has a small tear in his skin which I'm super worried about. I'm not sure if the wound is serious enough to warrant a vet visit. There was a little bit of blood but it's otherwise pretty dry. I'd say it's about 5mm long. I'd get a photo but the process of removing the tape was stressful enough for him and he's since hidden away in his hide and I don't want to bother him anymore today.
He was supposed to eat today which was also a bummer. I'm a new snake owner and I've only had this guy for about 3 weeks now so I'm a little shaken up over the whole thing. I'm probably going to give him at least a week before I feed him again, I'm just hoping he'll be ok?
