Rockhampton Herpers

im in yeppoon, close to rocky. I have found and seen, several BTS, GTS, Many Coastals, Spotteds, eastern browns, RBB's, Keelbacks, once saw a frilly, bearded dragon, pink tongue skinks and once and only once, a bandy bandy.

Maanz and i went our herping the other night off Alexandra street, up on the water tower, behind Q-Mag. Were out for hours and didn't see anything. Finally decided to head home. Soon as we walked up the stairs, I got a call from my aunt saying can you please come and remove a big python from under the house. So off we shoot to her place and find, not one, but two decent sized and very cranky carpets. And I've got the bite mark to prove just how cranky haha. Absolutely beautiful snakes though

Yep Rocky herper here!

Good to see there are at least a few locals on here I curently have a pair of Tanami Womas & Central beardies. Speaking of beardies here is one I came across the other day in the Tafe garden poor thing had the tip of its tale missing.

Gladstonite here! 2 bredli, 1 Scrub and 2 central beardies... but I don't really count them as mine :lol:

I like beardies, just not keeping them compared to my snakes :lol: They're meant to be my sisters but she's not here all the time now and when she is she doesn't do much in the way of care so I guess I resent them because I've been forced to care for them.

Too many politics and excrement stirrers... The big reason Gladstone doesn't have one

I am local to the area and have a gorgeous GTS, hoping to get a Murray-darling python in a few months gotta do my research g

Down at Yeppoon coastal, we are always seeing tree snakes, carpets, browns and things.
I was mowing, and I had a brown go across my feet, calm as a day, pretty much crapped myself.
And the other day we actually had a snake that came into the house, and hid in the computer cupboard.
Heaps along the coast.
