So in the past month or so on the gold coast the temperature has gotten noticably cooler. As of two weeks ago one of my rsps stopped eating then a week later the other and last night my youngest rsp refused a feed also. I also keep womas and they all like always never refuse a feed. It got me thinking that i read somewhere that roughies tend to notice a smaller drop in temps more significantly due to them being from the tropics where the heat is more constant all year round. So my question is do you think my roughies thing its getting close to winter and have started "cooling"?
temps in the enclosures have remained constant up until the refusal of food where i lifted the temps slightly to see if that was the problem but at night i turn off heating so the temps would definately drop. Any other thoughts?
