I have a dilemma, in a few weeks I will be making a start in building some enclosures for my growing olives and atherton. I have come up with a few Ideas and would like some imput and ideas.

The first Idea was building 4 enclosures @ 4ft x2 x2 once they leave the click clack, but cause olives grow quickly and big these cages would probably last 2 to 4 years.
The only pro to this is that it gives me a few spare cages for monitors and dragon, What sort of agamidae?(monitor/dragon) would live comfortable in these sizes ( was think acckies or flavifus or small dragons.
Cons is that there 'll be a lack of space I wont have much space to put the enclosures anywhere when they are out grown by the olives.

The second idea was building 2 at 6ft X 2 X 2 and put a devider in them to get 4 section at 3ft x 2 x 2 as I would think that a 6ft enclosure would be a bit big for a yearling.
If I would put a devider in how would I heat both cages equally with allowing for a cool end without putting in 2 seperate heat sources in with the fact that I will remove the devider when the snakes get big enough for the full 6ft cage.

Also with heating I would be thinking a ozbright style but would like some uv source, would these globes provide enough heat for the 6ft cages? I would like to have a thermostat too so the ozbright would be useless.
SO what sort of heat source could I get that would last with a thermostat and provide uv

A flav's not gonna live comfortably in a 4x2x2 for long! When you put a divider in you have to heat both cages as if they're separate and when you remove the divider just don't turn one set on. I can't see any other way around that but I am a little on the sleepy side (due to a facial, not me being completely sad lol) so if I'm wrong please point it out. We have a 6x2x2 with a divider in and we're just heating/using it as if it's 2 separate cages atm.

I'm not sure but I think there might be Zoomed or Exoterra spotlights that provide some UV as well as heat...not sure if they can be used on a stat tho. Oz bright's are pretty damn hot so I'd think it could heat a 6 footer but once again, shout out if I'm wrong :p. If you can work an Oz bright out so it heats the cage nicely in winter then the only drawback is that you have to turn it off if we're gonna have a hot summer day. The other option is those dichroic lights but I haven't read the thread about the UV...just been listening to Phil lol ;)

I don't know much about the OzBright bulbs but can't figure out why they wont work with a thermostat. You could use a Habistat dimmer stat which are designed for use with bulbs.

MVB bulbs can't beused with a stat because they have an extrenal ballist and have to cool down before turning off, it's better to use a timmer.

Also moniters don't require UV will live perfectly fine without it, dragons do need it.

Ah right, like I said I didn't know anything about them. Yes you would be wasting your time giving monitors UV.
