so I think after another fish tank incident this morning and waking up to litres of water on my carpet, Ive decided to change the tank into a lizard set-up.

my question is how would I sell all my fish. a tank full of african cichlids. be sad to get rid of em but this water thing is getting to me.

any thoughts people? I know some aquarium shops take em but dont give any money for em. And some of my fish are worth a fair bit.

anyone have any experience here?

Put them to our for sale forum.
Last time I was selling tropical fish, I sold them on Ebay all with no problem.

There are forums just like this one that specialise in fish and fish trading. I'll get back to you with an address.

Cheers

all sorts of malawi cichlids.. venustus, compressiceps, mooriis etc etc its in a 4x2x2 so theres a fair few in there to get rid of

The Herp Trader will consider most anmals and things that herpers might be interested in. Herps and other native animals will always be our primary focus but as long as the items are not competing with the Herp Shop's product line and has some sort of herp flavour we will carry most ads.

Get some file snakes, problem solved. Better yet some turts. My little scamps seem to know the value of fish and only eat the expensive ones leaving the boring feeder fish

Indeed Olivehydra, Turts Love little fish to death!
Might be an expensive feast but.

Advertise them here:

http://boroniaaquarium.com.au/

This is where I sold all my fish etc when I got out of the hobby and changed to Herps. I sold Tanganyikans and Malawis with not much trouble and I am talking 22 tanks full here :) Lots of people from around the country are members of Boronia's site so don't worry too much about it being Melbourne based :)

Good Luck.
