Sexing my netteds....

can anyone help me?

i have two that were sold as a pair but not 100% sure

if i take some photos could someone help me out?

i can post them up on here but i just want to no if its worth it first coz if no one can do it i wont bother taking the pics and loading them up etc

The males are normally larger and kinda have more reddish orange on their lip/neck.

yea well the one i think is my male is quite alot bigger then the one i thinks the female
ill take a pic in a bit of them both next to each other and u will see what i mean

could you get a pick of their actual vent, with your thumb gently peel the cloacal entrance back. if they are anything like other dragons a male will have a very wide cloaca, whilst a females in smaller.

Hey Lana do you know what age they are?? As they are sexually dimorphic ( thank you scales and tails magazine:lol with the females being smaller than the males. There is a really good article on them in the Scales and Tails magazine which is well worth a read.

EDIT: Looking at the tails i would say the bottom is female as the tail tapers more rapidly than the top one, definately looks like a pair to my untrained eye

With our central netteds..the male is a lot bigger and colourful...lot of red on him..where the two girls are a lot smaller and have no red on them..if that helps.

they are mertles old netteds
they were a year i think when i got them a few months ago
ill show u guys the size difference now i tried to get the pics for kirby but i couldnt get em too blury
fay my colours in my netteds are the same but size is alot diff... tell me what u think

as u can see my lil girl "shes so cute" is so much smaller
(i gather shes a girl) and the bigger one does have more red on his neck u cant really tell much tho i didnt take very good pics they were just quick ones

but he is alot darker then her all over shes alot more pale
he is also shedding atm tho as u can see
