Hi i was just wondering if any one has ever used shredded paper for substrate for pythons?
I imagine it wouldnt be too good when the pythons Poo or wee...
Any one used it?

I used to use it on top of newspaper for my Woma's. They love burrowing in it.
But it does make it hard to see when they have crapped or urinated and they love to urinate :rolleyes:

Thats what i suspected as it doesn't seem to bind together to much
 
I used it for my bluetongues - they had a great time burrowing into it, but it didn't look that great and was harder to find the poos for spot cleaning. Made it easy for weekly cleaning though - just chuck it, scrub out enclosure and replace! Didn't have to bugger around washing and disinfecting astro turf, which I do now. So it has it's positives and negatives.
