silicon

I've tried to silicon up a few enclosures with a couple different types of silicon but the ants seem to like to eat it and have the silicon has been covered in ants..

Was wandering if anybody could share the brand of silicon they use that has worked for them? i've tried two different types and both times ants have wrecked it.

wow thats really odd, have you tryed an acetic cure silicon or a aquarium type?

Try getting sika urothane if it's for melamine, or nutural cure silicone from bostic

Maybe it's more of a case of bug spray around the flooring of where you're building....

I've never had ants attracted to any sort of silicone I've used.

Damiam can i just get that Sika urothane from bunnings?

there not falling apart.. altough i got a small glass tank for my scorpions and ants started to have a go at the silicon on that as well so i dunno?
