Just looking to confirm that the best heating to use for a plastic container (click clack) is a heat mat. I currently have my 3 month old MD in a display enclosure but I'm going overseas in a couple of months and will need to enlist a snake sitter.

Best option atm is my dad ( :? ) but it isnt really practical to relocate the whole enclosure for the 2 weeks. So i'm planning on converting a large click clack ( probably a 60L as she is used to having quite a bit of space) but I'm drawing a blank on how I would rig up the lighting that she is used to, hence I am thinking heat mat.

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

forget the heatmat and use a heat cord, do a search on heat matts and you will get your answers,

for 2 weeks I would leave everything as is, your Md will be fine.

Heat mat would be fine. and very practical as you wouldn't have to route your dads bench. lol. As long as your thermostat is good quality you'll be laughing.

Thats the thing tho i cant leave everything as is as i need to take my snake to my dads place.

Also, as I am planning on expanding my collection as soon as I get back I will need the click clack all rigged up anyway, so I may as well get it all done now, only have to do it once.
