I bought this guy yesterday  the kids have been at me and at me to get them a kitten. I don't know exactly what he is but I think he's a bitza lol (you know, bits za this, bit za that )

Anyway, I was wondering what the snake would do if it smelt cat on my hands, so without really thinking too much about it I waved my hand in front of my Darwin. Perhaps it might've been okay if she wasn't asleep on her log and heavily due for a feed  She hadn't bitten me for about 1 year hehee So the rule is now: Wash your hands before handling the snake after touching the cat kids

ps: the way I'm holding kitty looks bad, but I absolutely assure you it's certainly not how it looks  Not that some of you'd care anyway :p

I think its obvious what the snake would want to do if smely kitty on your hands... Have a feast on good old kitty.... lol :)

i got two cats moosey and its never been a prob........even had cats go past them when they have been out and they never paid much attention to the cat

Oh okay!!!!! (gimme to minutes or so) lol it's got me under my index finder and over the top of my pointer finger lol I'll get you a shot of the better nibble!

Yes Souly, I was curious as to whether the snake would actually recognize the smell of the cat as being something to consume lol It may have very well gone for an instinct strike due to me being overly enthusiastic getting my hand in front of her  I admit it was a dumb move  you see, I love red wine hehehe I'm about to head off to handle a tiger in the next couple of hours hehehe I might leave it go until tomorrow now

I have two cats and i have never had a problem. I have put a snake almost on top of a cat and neither react at all.

Dear Torny is a bit over 4ft Craig :D Admittedly she's not the biggest, but scared the pants off me when she hit me pretty hard this arvo (I certainly wasn't expecting it lol )  I love a few chews by any sizable python to be honest, call me a masochist hehehe
