Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience using Slitherin's cages; if so, any opinions/ recommendations?

Cheers,

I.V.

I would buy poop loads if they were reasonably priced, i worked in the plastic injection industry and those cages wouldn't cost much to produce.

yeh mate awesome cages, jason the guy who imports them and owns slithern is a nice guy to aye, as said a bit over priced but they will last forever

I just wish there were more tall, commercial, products to suite the arboreal snakes and dragons - 3ft and 4ft tall would be great.

Take a look at Dickys AluRacks as an alternative. They look great.

Thanks for the input everyone, much appreciated.

Bundy: I agree, think of all the herps you could by at those prices! , and thanks for the heads up re approaching someone in the plastics injection industry, I'll give it a try first.

Ewan: If I were looking for a rack system, Dicky would definately be the go; great systems at a reasonable price (hope the check's in the mail Dicky!) , but I'm more interested in the cages at this stage as I'm still having trouble with not providing heating/ lighting for animals that are essentially diurnal ( keeping Monitors will do that to you!).

Mate I think you will find that it's not cheap....if it were that cheap to get them made here every man and his black dog would doing it....
Come to think of it,Tim's are made off shore as well.....
bundy your in the plastic game,I will put my hand up for some cheap cages if you can do them....

No can do guys/gals, as i said i "worked" in the plastic injection industry.

The cages would be quite easy to manufacture it's just the large initial outlay getting the moulds machined up and buying all the equipment. Any investors here??? hahaha

I've been looking at caging systems in America, especially those for housing hots, and found "Neodesha" (npicages.com). Specifically designed for keeping vens and very simple construction.

I was looking at 3 1200mm cages initially and, even with import from the States, these cages work out cheaper ($1400 all up, delivered), compared to $2250 for three similar sized "Visions".
