Slugs?

Just found a single, very gooey slug in the tank of one of my gravid females, 28 days is next Friday.
Is it normal for females to drop slugs early like this?
Worth keeping more of an eye on her? She is extremely aggressive at the moment.

Yes slugs can come a day to a week early sometimes

Update she layed a healthy clutch of 18 eggs the next day
