Well my knob tails burrow like all do. The first time they did this i got worried as i couldn't see where they were, but i found where the sand was dug up but id didn't seem like any air could get through so i got them out. They have been burrowing every day which is what i expected but again today she has dug one filling the entrance. And i read to watch out as they can dig and suffocate themselves and i have been worried about this since i get them.

So i was wondering if i should open the hole up to be safe each time i see it.

Add pics of them burrowing as well if you want, every one loves pics :)

Thanks

Ben

I used to worry about that. I don't now. They always dig themselves out again :D

There are pics of ours in my album on here.

hey Ben, there is usually an air pocket, mine do that too, make a huge tunnel quite deep down but they always come out ok, i wouldnt worry too much.

In the wild they block the hole up so predators and other animals looking for shelter dont bother them, its fine just leave them be

+1, dont stress mate, they always come out again...
They block the entrance to the hides as well
