Snake Egg Problem

Our 8ft female carpet python laid this morning the photo's below show the eggs as the photo shows the eggs were still all joined together..... our other female carpet is kept in identical conditions laid 18 perfect eggs. Everythig seemed to be going ok until she laid today, does anyone know what went wrong?





She had her pre lay shed on the 21/11/09 , she laid a total of 20 eggs which all were like this.

Slugs..... it happens sometimes, just one of those things.

Was it the same father?
If not maybe the other one is shooting blanks?
Has she laid good eggs b4?

slugs. unfertile eggs. maybe the male. was he cooled ? then again it could be just bad luck and one of those unexplained things

Thanks, they were two different males for both these girls. so it could be the male will definitely keep this in mind, we havn't breed from this male b4 and this is the only female we put him with, he was cooled along with all the others. Maybe it was just a once off might still give him a shot again next season.
