For a few days, he was in hiding with milky white eyes - looking and acting like he would shed

And now he's eyes are normal, and clear
But I didn't see him shed, and I can't find any signs of shed in his enclosure

What's going on?

my diamonds do the same go into blue ( shedding ) then go back to normal give it a few more days and he will shed :)

The eye go milky then become clear about 1 to 7 days after they will shed, sounds normal to me

the snake shedding cycle:
1. eyes and body become milky and dull
2. eyes and body go back to normal
3. snake sheds

ur snake will shed now

Ok thanks guys

I have only seen him shed only once before and I thought they stayed milky the entire time

Wasn't too sure what was going on, almost like he changed he's mind lol

glad you asked mate, good to see your a part of this site and we can all help :)

I was just about to ask the same thing.. so glad I did a search first!
I havent fed mine around shedding time, but this shed seems to take forever.. been about a week since shims (yeah gotta sex it still) eyes have gone back to normal and no shed, usually its been about 2-3 days after... so do I feed yet or not?

Be patient it will shed.....then feed it........it can easily go 4-6mths without food, a couple of days won't matter.

Hey Ally, firstly want to say good work on using the search function!

Secondly, there is no actual limit of time it will take for a snake to shed.

There is nothing to worry about, just feed it after it sheds

Just in case you didn't get the message - it will shed a few days after it goes clear...

The snake going milky is actually a substance that it excretes to help slough the skin off with less damage. It the withdraws the fluid and prepares to shed.

Sweet thanks guys!.. I actually decided to feed Plissken tonight... I'm getting sick of having a grumpy snake on my hands! haha.. and 2 weeks without a feed and I feel guilty.. even though yes I know it can go a couple of months without a feed.
