Spot on Niall, Parasuta spectabilis.
Let it go where you found it, they're mildly venomous so be careful - but relatively harmless to humans.

I will let him go, but have to get there and won't be till the weekend. He's in beautful condition so should be fine till then. He'll be kept in a container on a heat mat till then.
Thank you so much for your help.

Change of plan, he's going tomorrow, daughter's boyfriend is picking him up and taking him back to where he was found. He wasn't sure if it was a native to here or was brought down in a truck, so he thought it best to check to be sure.
Thanks again everyone

little whip snake. Some people confuse them with baby eb's;)

Good point, count midbody scales to be sure. P. flagellum have 17, spectabilis have 15. I'm not sure which one occurs around Adelaide?

That is Parasuta spectabilis...not flaggellum....head marking are different
Cheers,
Scott
