been looking at a few aussie reptile sellers sites, i notice that elapids are much cheaper than boids or even colubrids. can anyone explain please, why this is? are elapids much easier to breed or is it less demand? what about colubrids?????? :?

Instar,
I think in general Elapids are cheaper, well at least the more common ones, but I have seen Inland Tiapans going for a tidy sum recently, coastals also fetch good money when advertised.

There are a few things that effect the price, including availability, supply and demand, but also the number of people that are allowed to keep them, because of the way the licensing system works, it may take some people a long time before they can be considered qualified enough to keep them(and quite right to!).
