hi there i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this is normal.
my 3yr old spotted python had his first winter cooling this year. and hasnt eated in about 3 mnths and now he has perked right up again and is cruising his tank however. he still isnt eating... i have offered him a food item once a month since he started to wake up so not to waste expensive rats when he isnt eating them... is this normal not to eat for so long or should i be considering a vet visit. he has never had a cooling before and this one was not by my choosing it just so ohappened we moved during winter and the new place is lots colder than the old one and b4 we could up the temps with a different globe he was snoozing...

any info is good

cheers

Don't panic. Give him daytime temps of about 29-30 and let the nights stay cool. he'll start eating naturally around sept/nov.
