I got that too and have been using it...I think it's awesome! The best herp software I've used yet and it's free which ya can't beat so no demo versions that you have to hack into :lol: . Simple things like the rack system...where if you have multiple animals which you've fed at the same time you don't have to type the same thing under each of them, etc etc. Only thing that bugs me a bit is the dates are in US format with the month first but that doesn't exactly make it difficult to use

I use the HerpMaster software, not free but easily the best I have seen, it is extremely comprehensive and easy to use. Costs about $100 but well worth it. I had a look at the ProHerp software and it is pretty good also.

boa I couldn't get the HerpMaster demo working...maybe I should have another shot at it!

LOL!! I meant that if I downloaded it, is it possible to put it on a disk instead of leaving it on the hard drive?? I'm still learning computing here Zoe. :?

Yes you can save it to a CD or DVD in case of a computer crash or whatever.

I think when you download the installer you should be able to choose where to download it to (ie: the disk) and then once you install it I think again you should be able to choose the disk but in terms of size and whether it would fit on there or not I don't know! Could give it a shot I guess?

Zoe, If you contact the makers they will sort it out, they are very easy to deal with.

I sent the HerpMaster people email, as per the instructions, but never heard back again. I trashed it.

RR just download it to your h/d then burn the install file to a cd.
