I'd guess Diplodactylus williamsi based on having an orange rimed iris and what would most likely be 4 rows of spines on its tail?

Yep, very good, except you're way out of whack with your taxonomy. They've been Strophurus for god knows how long. And yes, 2 rows of spines on the tail would have made it intermedius.
It was found on an acacia on a DEC survey in western NSW.
