Howdy,

Will be looking for a stimsons python in Perth from next weekend onwards. Do have a breeder in mind, but should anyone have any surplus animals will quite happily consider.

I don't really want to pay anymore than $350.

Cheers.

My advice, is go through your dealers list (you can get an updated one from CALM if yours isn't recent) and start calling- because as I said, you'll be lucky to get any Stimson for that price, unless you do some kinda deal.

We've seen Juveniles for $395 starting price...only place that we've seen adults (I think they were adults-don't quote me on that) for $350 is Pilbara Pythons- not sure if he has any right now, but you'd need to pay freight unless you went there. And a pet store- but I refuse to mention them, as they are dodgy as dodgy.

Just my experience.

Cheers AntaresiaLady.

Spoke to the breeder a while back and he said that his animals start at 350 so i think i will give him a go.

I'm not keen on freight.

Why do we have such limited pythons in west oz!! argh!!

Not so Reptile trader had specials this week (or last) for $325 - I deleted the email they sent, but they were also offering Carpets for $795. Westasussie last year was selling them for $350 (got a couple off him) so I'd imagine he'd be selling around the $300 mark this year and if you want a real bargain ring up Gary kelly (0899212979) in Geraldton he sells most of his to Reptile Trader - you might beable to pick one up for about $280 + freight.

Gee Zeus, I'd love to sell my Stimmies for 350 each

They'll keep coming down once keepers start breeding them. The other thing to note is that there's probable less than 1500 C class licenses issued at the moment, so demand will start coming eventually.

Cheers for that Stencorp,

I don't think its worth the 500km drive to save $20 - $70 and I'm not real keen on freight.
Are the photos of the stimmies on reptiletrader exactly the same as the animals? They're not advertised for $325 on the site, is that discount only available to people of the mailing list?
I wish I had 800 smackeroonies lying around to buy a SW :-(
I think I'll just give westaussie a ring. Its simple, easy and he has been quite helpful.

Just got an email from reptiletrader.com.

They have their stimmies @ $325 still. Going for a drive this weekend to get one!! :)

Woohoo
