"whacking me in the head and pouring beer on me.""

its like my excuss to my parents "they just kept on pouring beer in my mouth and i didn't want to be rude so i drank it"
can't be rude now when someone offers you a drink....he he he

Check out Bryan Fry's forum for his opinion on this...
From memory he said it was a load of poo!
Maybe thats just what I thought though hehe

isn't it incredible that a line of logic like "this guy got bit so we zapped him and he lived, so the zapping obviously helped" is used by so many people, so often?

I seem to recall reading somewhere, a looooong time ago (mid 80's), that Sydney Funnel Web venom would break down into it's constituents and rendered harmless when an electric current was run through it. It was suggested at the time that Electric shock therapy may be a viable treatment.

I'm surprisedthat all the research has been done with stun guns or engines. I would have thought someone would be testing with defibrillators.
:p

Sounds like a russel coight treatment for stings in the bush, just hook em up to the jumperleads and gun the engine! no worries!
