i agree with browns too.... we too have converted many people into realising that snakes arnt as bad as history has portrayed them... several people now have become herps themselves..... i tell them that " my dog in the back yard, as placid as she is could do more damage then any of my snakes" and i hand them my quietest little one that has never bitten a soul yet... except a few mice... and i say" if he bits you i will give you $100", so they hold them, see how nice they really are, and begin to understand them better.... but i never force anyone... and i stay true to my word, but i have never had to pay anyone yet! and 99% of people have their eyes opened... and they find they actually like how they feel and look...
but i also have the problem, most of my family wont visit because of my pets.... and they live out of town, so i cant even get them to come to town and try it... never mind....
