I will try rubbing a mouse over the rat trick next time I feed her. I let her go 21 days without a feed and she still was,nt interested and then I foldedI thought that now it,s summer they will eat more and then slow down in the winter so I did,nt want to hold up her tucker to much.
You can try washing the rat in warm soapy water (not detergent) and giving it a thorough rinse. Give it a blow dry with a hair dryer on warm to fluff up the fur and there's a pretty good chance the rat will become lunch. Might sound wierd but it gets rid of the stale/ratty/urine smells.
