thermostat prob question

ok guys i need some help.. im doing a new incubator this week and im just wondering where is the best place to put the probes for the thermostat and thermometer? should i just sit them on the shelves or attached to the back wall??

I'm setting one up to and have the thermostat probe ( blackcord) attached tp the heatcord ( greycord) inside and the thermometer probe will be in the egg box(es). These cords come through a small hole at the back that were already in the in it.
I'll attach a pic. It's a little rough and i have to play around with the cord as there is a little too much condensation and it is forming droplets on the lid :? Or maybe someone else has some ideas for me?

thanks for the pics :) how does the tape go with the heat cord? is it insulated tape?

Hi mate,

Yes the tape is the insulated tape ( that $20 one from bunnings ). It seems okay though i may also add some of those electric cable holder things ;)
