thermostat prob question

ok guys i need some help.. im doing a new incubator this week and im just wondering where is the best place to put the probes for the thermostat and thermometer? should i just sit them on the shelves or attached to the back wall??

I'm setting one up to and have the thermostat probe ( blackcord) attached tp the heatcord ( greycord) inside and the thermometer probe will be in the egg box(es). These cords come through a small hole at the back that were already in the in it.
I'll attach a pic. It's a little rough and i have to play around with the cord as there is a little too much condensation and it is forming droplets on the lid :? Or maybe someone else has some ideas for me?

thanks for the pics how does the tape go with the heat cord? is it insulated tape?

Hi mate,

Yes the tape is the insulated tape ( that $20 one from bunnings ). It seems okay though i may also add some of those electric cable holder things
