Thermostat showing 24c and not going up much

Hey all. I recently bought a Stimmy five days ago from petstock. Shes around 5/6 months and her name is her Willow. Now i'm having issues with my heatmat and thermostat; The thermostat is saying its 24.7 degrees in there. I've moved the sensor closer to the warm side and halfway down the heatmat, I'm just concerned i'm going to harm her either with cold or warm temperatures.
