LOL, its a bit early for Santa, but halloween is just round the corner, marinade a pumpkin in beer and bbq it, but you may catch more than wasps, maybe the odd Zombie with munchies....

Paper wasps are nest protective. If you stand there whacking you head underneath the nest they will keep having a go. If you move away they will leave you alone.
Their toxin is water soluble. If you jump into water (croc free) or jump into the shower
straight away the pain diminshes rapidly.
